What do we expect from IPL 2024?
All cricket fans are looking forward to the new season of the Indian Premier League. BCCI has already held an auction and announced the start date of the new IPL season which is March 2024, and the completion is scheduled for May 29.
Cricket fans may see some major changes in the upcoming IPL season. These changes affected both the composition of the teams and the rules of the matches themselves.
Team size will also be adjusted for each franchise. The squad limit is 25 players with a minimum of 18 players. There will be fewer foreign players in the teams.
The number of games will increase markedly. 10 teams will be divided into two equal groups, as always. All 5 teams in the group will play each other twice, resulting in 74 matches in the tournament, including the playoffs. This is the highest number of games scheduled in the history of the Indian Premier League.
